The Live Rooms are very pleased to announce that ‘Karma to Burn’ will be playing in Chester on August 28th 2014.
Since opening in late 2013 The Live Rooms have been committed to bringing the widest variety of live entertainment to Chester, from Comedy to Dance, Spoken Word to Metal. The Karma to Burn show will be perfect for fans of stoner rock from Queens of the Stoneage to The Sword, and all points in between.
Karma to Burn are the kings of the riff and play rock the way it should be, heavy and full of sweat and dirt....the band do more than ‘play’ great music, they live it.
Having formed in Morgantown, West Virginia, in the 90’s, the band came to the attention of Roadrunner records who signed the band and released ‘Karma to Burn’ in 1997. The bands brutal stoner rock riffs have gained fans internationally as well as many admirers from within the industry.
Karma to Burn has shared stages globally with names such as Metallica, Kyuss, Smashing Pumpkins, Queens of the Stoneage and many more.
Karma to Burn songs are mainly instrumental, full of crushing grooves, and when record companies have tried to push the band to hire a singer to help sell more records the answer is usually ‘F**k *ff!’. The band are true believers in the power of great music, and Karma to Burn is exactly the rock n roll we want to hear in the 21st Century where you can meet the band at the bar after the show to have some beers together.
